Peak Tower of Hong Kong

Peak Tower at Night

Peak Tower at Night

This ultra-modern building sitting atop of the Victoria Peak of Hong Kong, is at 396m (1,200 ft) above sea level. Updated and re-launched in 2006, the Peak Tower is an entertainment center containing several restaurants and shops. It also houses the Peak Tram Terminus, offering rapid tram service to and from the Central District. On a clear day, the Peak Tower may be seen far away across the harbor from the Kowloon side.

Located at the rooftop of the building is the Sky Terrace, offering 360-degree panoramic view across Hong Kong. I had taken some beautiful images of the city from the Terrace before ….. but on this foggy evening, the visibility was so poor that I could barely see the lights of Central.  So I just turned around and took a shot of the Peak Tower itself, which resembled an alien spaceship landing on top of the mountain.
