Giant Rubber Duck sculpture by Florentijn Hofman

This six-storey tall sculpture of a common bath tub toy duck is the creation of Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman. It was a big draw for locals and tourists when it was on display at the Darling Harbour of Sydney, Australia. The Rubber Duck has been transported around the world since 2007, spreading messages of peace and harmony in the “Global Bath Tub”. It has already visited Amsterdam (Netherlands), Osaka (Japan), Sydney (Australia), Auckland (New Zealand), and Sao Paulo (Brazil). Currently, the 54-ft tall artwork is anchored at a Hong Kong terminal for display until June 9th. Afterwards, the Rubber Duck will continue its global journey to visit United States and the Middle East.
