The London Eye, erected in 1999, is located on the River Thames banks in London, England. The structure is 135 metres tall and the Ferris wheel has a diameter of 120 metres.
The London Eye attracts over 3.5 million visitors annually. Even on this gloomy day in early April, there was a long lineup of tourists waiting to view the city from a high vantage point. I had no patience to go through the queuing process, so I was quite satisfied with just a quick snap shot under the London Eye.
