The “Digital Orca” is a sculpture on display outside of the Vancouver Convention Center. Douglas Coupland, the visual artist who created this masterpiece, was also the author of “Generation X”, an international best seller published in 1991.

Photographers are always pushing for higher pixel counts and resolution in digital cameras. But how many pixels does one really need to compose a fine art image? When it comes to the “Digital Orca”, Less is definitely More .
