Sometimes, jet lag has its advantages. In this case, it made getting up early to photograph sunrise a no-brainer. For two days in a row, I walked out to the Sydney Harbour in early dawn, just in time for the sunrise at 5:50am. As it turned out, there was not much of a sunrise on the first day. I could not get any satisfying shots, but I did get to know the harbour area a little bit better. On the next day, I was able to find the perfect spot to view the sun rising from behind the famous Opera House. And the weather did not disappoint the second time around. What a golden sunrise it was!
